Carrye Hodges, FNP-BC, founded MedRenew Clinic as a division of MedHelp Clinic in May 2024. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and went on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

She has a background in trauma/emergency medicine as well as pediatric intensive care.

Carrye relocated from Washington, DC, where her focus was treating Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses for nearly 5 years in a specialty clinic. She has served patients from all over the nation and around the world.

Dr. Durand graduated from Penn State University School of Medicine and then completed his residency in Family Medicine at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. After working for the Public Health Service for three years in West Virginia, Dr. Durand and his wife, Dr. Jane Sullivan-Durand, set up a family medicine practice in Contoocook, NH in 1988. Their interests soon grew to include ideas and methods of complimentary and integrative medicine. Dr. Durand was board certified by the American Board of Holistic Medicine in its first year in 2001. He also worked with Concord Hospital to start its Center for Integrative Medicine. Dr. Makous is a board-certified family medicine physician who completed a two-year fellowship in Lyme and Neuro inflammatory Disorders at the Lyme and Tick-Borne Diseases Research Center at Columbia University Department of Psychiatry under the direction of Dr. Brian Fallon. Dr. Makous stayed on as an Assistant Professor at the Depts of Psychiatry and Family Medicine until 2017.

She opened her private practice in the Western Suburbs of Philadelphia (Exton, PA) in 2015, focusing on diagnosing and treating tick-borne and other complex illnesses and their Neuropsychiatric complications that are frequently seen following various infections. Her approach integrates research-based academic allopathic medicine with holistic and integrative modalities.

Dr. Warshel is board certified in Internal Medicine and Integrative/Holistic Medicine and is a licensed acupuncturist in Five Element Acupuncture who now specializes in Lyme, mold and complex chronic illness. Dr. Werner Vosloo, ND, has dedicated his career to the holistic & integrated treatment of chronic illnesses. He graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Oregon in 2006, where he developed a profound understanding of the intricate relationship between the human body and the natural world.

Dr Shor is a specialty care physician focusing on the management of chronic Lyme disease, Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. The patient experience will include comprehensive assessments, personalized ongoing treatment plans, and longer appointment times with the provider.

Dr. Shor has also developed particular expertise and has become a local referral resource in the management of fibromyalgia and Lyme disease. Effective September 2010, Dr. Shor was a member of Governor McDonnell’s task force on Lyme disease. Since 2012 he has chaired the Loudoun County Lyme Commission. He is also a pas ILADs President.

Dr. Susan L. Marra is an adult and pediatric Lyme disease specialist with over 25 years of experience as a clinician, and over 32 years in the health care industry. She has trained with world-leading Lyme disease specialists (Dr. Richard Horowitz and Dr. Charles Ray Jones) on the east coast and has practiced both on the east (Connecticut) and west coasts (Seattle). She has a BS and MS in Psychology, with an emphasis in Psychobiology, and received her ND degree from Bastyr University. Prior to attending Bastyr, she worked at the National Institute of Mental Health in Bethesda, Maryland, and at the University of Pennsylvania in brain and behavior research. Dr. Marra has been an ILADS member since 2001.

She has extensive experience in treating tick-borne illness in both children and adults, and uses an integrated medicine approach to help her patients heal. She was the first Naturopathic doctor to receive an ILADS preceptorship from the Turn the Corner Foundation where she trained with Dr. Horowitz in Hyde Park, NY.

Bethany Krieger is an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner known for her compassion, expertise, and making patients feel seen and heard. Danielle (Dani) Adams, PA-C, is a certified Physician Assistant and co-founder of Restorative Health & Wellness in Washington, DC. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. During her graduate studies, Dani completed clinical clerkships across various medical fields including inpatient and outpatient internal medicine, surgery, women’s health, emergency medicine, and elective rotations in neurology and oncology. She holds a Bachelor of Health Science with a Minor in Psychology from the same university.

Before joining Restorative Health & Wellness, Dani provided care to patients suffering from Lyme disease at the Jemsek Specialty Clinic. Previously, she also practiced in a primary care office. Driven by a profound commitment to patient care, Dani is passionate about patient education, preventative medicine, and patient-centered care. Rachel Markey, PA-C, is a certified Physician Assistant and co-founder of Restorative Health & Wellness Center. She has an extensive background in treating Lyme Disease, having spent ten years at the Jemsek Specialty Clinic (JSC) focusing on this complex condition. Prior to her specialization, Rachel worked in an internal medicine practice for two years. She earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Western University of Health Sciences in California, and completed her undergraduate education at St. Mary’s College of Maryland. Originally from North Carolina, Rachel has made Washington, DC, her home for the past fifteen-plus years.
